FAQs for Oakwater Estates Residents
Every Friday is trash day (roll cart with green lid).

Every Monday is yard waste and is limited to three cubic yards. Do not mix with other trash items.
Trash carts, large items, and yard waste should be placed on your curb no earlier than 6:00 pm on the day before pickup and should not be seen from the street at any other time.
Orange County strongly discourages the use of plastic bags with yard waste. Use your own trash cans or paper bags and bundle branches and palm fronds (less than three feet long) with string.
Bag it, don't blow it — it's the law! Blowing grass clippings and leaves into the street can clog stormwater drains and create algae growth in lakes.

Orange County Fertilizer Rules: Use fertilizers with slow-release nitrogen and keep at least 25 to 50 feet (or more) from the lake. No fertilizers are allowed during the summer (June through September).
Orange County discourages burning yard waste. Check to see if there is a current burn ban here.
No overnight trailers, campers, mobile storage units, or RV parking without HOA approval.
Keep street parking to ONE side of the road to allow emergency services, delivery trucks, sanitation, and school buses to pass. DO NOT park across from another vehicle.
Please pressure-clean your sidewalks and driveways regularly so they don't become slippery or unsightly.
Be a good neighbor and don't let your dog to bark excessively. Pick up after your dog and don't let them to run loose throughout the neighborhood. Learn more about Orange County's ordinances regarding pets and report any nuisance animals here.
The annual HOA fee is due on or before July 1st of each year. Residents get a yearly reminder in the mail before the due date. Please pay this fee in a timely matter.
990 Oakpoint View Court (Tract C) is private property and is managed by Oakwater Estates HOA. Any non-resident on this property may be fined for trespassing.
Alligators and bears are often seen in our neighborhood. Keep your distance and do not feed wildlife.
Contact the HOA board of any violations or if you have any concerns.
Changes to your property require a ACC request form. Some examples:
Removal of any tree more than 4 1/2 feet
Any landscape changes
Roof replacements
Exterior paint color changes
Swimming pool installations
Window replacements
New fences or repairs to old fences
Exterior renovations and additions
